As
Hourican's and, earlier, The Windsor Castle, this kept the posties
from the nearby sorting office in liquid lunches. Now the freehouse
has gone gastro, with an owner - ex-Conran management - who can
cook as well as keep a joint running smoothly. Crab ravioli with
lemon and ginger sauce and suckling pig with carrot and apple salad
- these are dishes that deserve a postbag of fan mail. Around £20
for food and wine.
